Project description
The Enjoy gym in Oviedo is the largest sports and leisure complex in town. The modern and sustainable building is provided with innovative high-tech equipment. The overall space is 5.792 square meters extended over two floors. The Enjoy gym offers place for around 7.000 members. Sports enthusiasts find a 1,000 square meter fitness room with more than 200 pieces of sports equipment, a heated swimming pool and a hydrothermal zone with sauna, hydromassage and Turkish bath. A healthy café with cuisine throughout and a parking garage with spaces for cars and motorbikes are also part of the center.
Why did the customer choose OBO products?
OBO delivered the OKB brush bar trunking system for the Enjoy Gym. The OKB system were chosen because it offered the perfect solution for the treadmill room to supply power and data to the machines that are equipped with data and television technology. The OKB system is fully integrated into the aesthetics of the space.
Only a narrow, inconspicuous brush strip along the wall or in front of floor-to-ceiling windows gives an indication of how the room is supplied with power. Since the strip is continuous, cables can be brought out at any point and thus always have the shortest route to their destination. The trunkings are installed flush with the screed and the covers can be covered directly with the floor covering. In this way, they blend in inconspicuously and seamlessly with any interior.
From the first step of planning to later use, the system remains flexible. It can be adapted again and again to the respective room situation, as the ready-mounted ducts can be easily opened and refitted at any time.
