The new fire protection duct PYROLINE® PLMR not only prevents the spread of fire, but also makes it simpler than ever to overcome obstacles during outdoor installations. The duct shows that special solutions are standard with OBO. This is how every installation can be safely managed.

Reliabel and robust
The intumescent fire protection mesh of the PYROLINE® PLMR foams up in case of fire and prevents the spread of fire via the electrical installation. The duct is fire resistant up to 90 minutes. He is made of stainless steel and can be used for the installation in outdoor areas. Its high-quality material is resistant against corrosion, rustproof and can also resist extreme temperatures or high levels of humidity.
Overcome any obstacle with the matching fittings
In particular during installations in outdoor areas, it can happen quickly that structural obstacles or obstacles from other systems, such as heating or ventilation pipes or water mains, are encountered when routing electrical installations. With the PYROLINE® PLMR these obstacles can be overcome without ease. With the matching fittings the fire-proof cable routing over all average obstacles in the outside area can be realized quick and easy.
Expert opinion confirms use as special solution
The PYROLINE® PLMR ducts can be used as special solutions while routing cables over fire protection walls according to the expert opinion GA-2024/070-Nau from 15.07.2024. They correspond to solutions according to the recommendation of the BMI+AMEV – EltAnlagen 2020 (section 7.3.3.5 – Photovoltaics systems – fire protection). Cables may not be run over the building partitions or fire walls. If this cannot be avoided in exceptional cases, then the cables must be routed in a protected manner using cable insulation or fire protection jacketing.
