New environmental product declarations for OBO cable support systems

Environmental awareness is growing – as much in society as in the construction sector. Thus, there is an increased need for reliable information on the potential environmental impacts of products. This need is met by the Environmental Product Declarations, or EPD for short. As of late, further cable tray, mesh cable tray, cable ladder, widespan ladder and mounting systems from the OBO portfolio also carry the environmental product declaration. OBO is proud to have taken another important step on the path to a more sustainable future.

As a unified, fact-based information basis for the evaluation of products’ sustainability, EPDs present a binding and universal foundation. Be it architects, planners, engineers, builders, facility managers or auditors – anyone who is interested can obtain an overview about the ecological assessment parameters and product-related environmental impacts using the publicly available EPDs.
