Reliably protect PV modules from lightning strikes

To protect PV modules of free-standing systems from lightning strikes, OBO presents a reliable solution with the air-termination rod, which is already angled by 112° at the factory, in combination with the clamps from the OBO portfolio. The rod can be attached directly to the Magic PV Field, the OBO mounting system for free-standing systems, while being able to carry lightning current. The product combination can also be used universally for many other PV mounting systems.

This solution combines OBO's expertise in the areas of lightning protection systems and renewable energies to create a solution for a completely protected PV system. OBO is one of the few complete providers. Our components interlock perfectly, providing installation benefits and added safety.
